All the villas, whether by the beach or over water, are elegantly designed with sandstone and timber and have fine furnishings, large windows to let in natural light, and are timeless in ambience. As well as having a private veranda with huge bean bags, a day bed and a dining table for two, each villa has a spacious, teak-floored bedroom featuring a king size bed with soft Egyptian cotton and a pillow menu, as well as a vanity desk, easy chairs and a large sofa.

Snorkelling
Snorkelling is a leisurely experience at Baros where the lagoon teems with fish and the house reef is a mere 15-metre from the shore. Float gently over a natural underwater paradise gazing at a kaleidoscopic carnival of marine life.

Diving
Begin with Discover Scuba Diving, an introductory dive in the lagoon with one of our professional diving instructors from Divers Baros Maldives. Progress to the PADI Scuba Diving Programme and upgrade to Open Water Diver certification, enabling you to dive anywhere in the world. Baros Maldives is the gateway to 30 superlative dive sites, yielding a biodiversity of marine life to thrill even the most experienced diver.

Marine Centre
The resident marine environmentalist provides useful information on the oceanographic world guides for snorkelling trips and excursions in the house reef (for beginning or for experienced snorkelers). The Marine Centre is a place to share your adventure!
